El Teatro Bar (Av. Orinoco, Las Mercedes, Caracas) – despite its name, this is actually a rock club, where various local bands perform live. Many college students show up here. Like other bars, ladies sometimes get in free if they show up early (before 11 pm).
Pastissima (Av. San Marino e/Guaicaipuro, Chacao, Caracas) – the name says it all: it’s a pasta palace. Located in the city’s upscale Chacao district, one can find homemade ravioli, tortellini, gnocchi, and gourmet-quality pizza. Of course, it also have Italian desserts such as gelatos and tiramisu.
